个星期六（26/1/08）是澳洲日[ Australia Day, is the biggest day of celebration in the country and is observed as a public holiday in all states and territories. On Australia Day we come together as a nation to celebrate what's great about Australia and being Australian. It's the day to reflect on what we have achieved and what we can be proud of in our great nation. It's the day for us to re-commit to making Australia an even better place for the future.]

当天下午，Aunty May (爸爸的表妹) 邀请我们到他们家吃晚餐。我们在五时许低达Aunty May 家，我们四个小孩一起玩（我，Olivia, Samantha, Kevin）。晚餐后，大慨八时，我们两家人一起行步到Darling Habour, 很近，只是十分钟，真方便呢！

我们铺上Picnic Rug, 大伙儿就坐下观看船只游行表演。 直到九时，烟花开始在Sydney Darling Harbour上空绽放，整整持续了15分钟。这次，妹妹不再怕看烟花绽放了，因妈妈抱住她，用手掩住她的小耳朵，这样她就可以勇敢的与我们一起欣赏漂亮的烟花。烟花绽放结束后， 妹妹说：[哇！好漂亮的烟花，好像大朵的花，也像confetti呢！下次我还要来看烟花。]
